Brixham, Coleton Fishacre (NT), River Dart Boat Trip, Britannia Royal Naval College, Dartmoor National Park, Tavistock. One day we travel around the bay to Brixham with its beautiful harbour and maze of narrow, winding streets. Take time to explore the harbourside shops or watch the fishermen and artists at work. We continue to Coleton Fishacre (NT), an elegant Arts and Crafts style house in a spectacular coastal setting, famous for its rare and exotic plant collection. Another day will take you to Totnes for a boat trip down the River Dart to Dartmouth. This is followed by a visit to the Britannia Royal Naval College where you have a guided tour, admire the stunning Georgian architecture whilst you gain a real insight into the way of life and training of naval officers since 1905. Please note that there is a fair amount of walking involved in this visit. A scenic drive across the wilds of Dartmoor National Park will take place on another day, with stopping points to include House of Marbles at Bovey Tracey and the traditional Devon town of Tavistock.
