The Royal York & Faulkner is a magnificent Regency building, dating from 1810, it enjoys an unrivalled position at the centre of Sidmouth`s elegant Esplanade overlooking the beach, and adjacent to the town centre. Powderham Castle, Plymouth including Boat Trip, Bath & Roman Baths Tour. Enjoy a visit to Powderham Castle, set in a magical picturesque setting with many attractions to enjoy. Powderham lies in a beautiful deer park on the banks of the River Exe, and has remained in the same family for all of its 600 years of history, it is currently home to the 18th Earl & Countess of Devon. Another day we spend in historic Plymouth, Devon’s major city with its dramatic fascinating waterfront. We enjoy a scenic boat cruise around the harbour to get a real taste of the maritime heritage of Plymouth - a unique opportunity to see the ships and submarines of the Royal Navy. Afterwards you are free to visit the Barbican, shop in the excellent shops or perhaps just stroll along the Hoe. On our return journey home on Sunday we pay a visit to the beautiful spa city of Bath. A local tour guide joins us for a tour of the city, you then have free time for lunch before a visit to the famous Roman Baths.
